Tinian Artists Museum

It includes sculpture and painting works by Tinian Artists. Established in 1930, it is continuously enriched ever since. Part of the works has been purchased by the Holy Foundation. Many of the works have been donated by the creators themselves, as a sign of gratitude for the scholarships they received from the Holy Foundation.

You can see sculptures by Fitalis brothers, G. Vitalis, D. Filippotis and L. Sochos and paintings by the two major painters N. Lytras and N. Gyzis.

Tinos Art Gallery

Established in 1961 following a donation to the Panhellenic Holy Foundation of Evanghelistria of Tinos, the Art Gallery includes many important works of Greek and foreign painters.

The visitor can admire great works made by the two major greek painters of the 19th century, born in Tinos, Nikiforos Lytras (Shepherd, Nigger, Landscape, Portrait of a Man, Portrait of a Woman, The Peasant) and Nikolaos Gyzis (Penelope Gyzis, My Mother Kyra Taro).

Archaeological Museum of Tinos

The museum is located on the main road leading from the harbor to the church. There, you will find a rich collection of pottery and household items from various periods, vases of the Geometric period, and amphorae and clay pots and headstones of the 5th century which were found in Exomvourgo and Kampos. In the courtyard of the museum you will also find exhibits of parts of the temple of Poseidon and Amphitrite. The museum also houses a rare collection of ancient coins of Tinos and a beautiful mosaic floor found in Panagia.

The House-Museum of Giannoulis Chalepas

The ancestral home of Giannoulis Chalepas at the entrance of the village, has been converted into a museum dedicated to the great Greek sculptor. In the premises you can see the personal belongings of the artist, family photos, handwritten notes, furniture, tools, household utensils, drawings and sculptures, as well as the workshop of  Chalepas.

Sacristy

The rich sacristy of the Holy Foundation includes part only of the offerings, mainly ecclesiastical silverware and gold embroidery, displayed in elegant windows.
